What is a Consulate?

A Consulate is an office under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia, whose function is to represent and protect the interests of the State and of Bolivian citizens abroad.

Therefore, and without fear of exclusion, all Bolivian citizen have the right to be assisted by their consulates and have access to their services.

In countries where there is no Consulate, the Embassy of Bolivia, has an official in charge of a consular section, that performs the same functions.
